The Project

This project was part of the Green + Sustainable Design class at Emily Carr University. The final project was "to take one of the readings and make it precious somehow, and then give it away."

The bracelet is made of cardboard, the papier-mâchéd reading , and a varnish.

The Reading

The reading I chose to make precious was "The New Rennaisance" by Daniel Quinn.

The Recipient

I chose to give my bracelet to my sister. The idea is that when it is worn, people will ask about it, thus spreading the information from the reading.
